Hello, I am currently on special assignment from my position as a fourth grade teacher at Hamilton School in the Schenectady City Schools to serve as a professional development specialist for the NSF Grant.  I have over 25 years of teaching experience in the classroom at the elementary level.  As a teacher, I have been  involved in science curriculum in Schenectady.  I have been a member of the District Science Curriculum Committee  to improve science education in Schenectady.  I have also worked as an STC trainer for both Schenectady and BOCES, as well as a turnkey trainer for the ESPET Test in Schenectady.

I am excited about working with SUNY Albany along with teachers from Bethlehem, Burnt-Hills, Watervliet and Schenectady to improve  both content and assessment  in science instruction.
