This week we continue with Archimede's Principle as we examine the downward force an object will exert on a spring scale when the object is immersed in water or some other fluid.

I would like to suggest you print this out to read at your leisure. There are several important process skills relating to the measurement of volume and weight, specifically how to measure the volume of an object using water displacement and measuring the weight of a liquid by differences. Both of these are inquiry skills contained in the core curriculum.
