Linda Armour

Linda Armour comes to the CRSEP project from Duanesburg Elementary School where she has served as a fourth grade teacher for 17 years.  Her classroom experience includes administration and scoring of the annual New York State science test.  Her fourth grade teacher team has written and received a Schenectady County grant for the past several years to teach community history through the arts.  In addition, she has presented at annual and regional conferences for the Science Teachers Association of New York State and the annual New York State Historical Association Teachers Conference. 

As a PDS, Linda has presented professional development sessions to introduce Science and Technology for Children units to teachers from districts involved in the project.  She is also involved in ongoing work with teachers to develop curriculum guides for the STC units, and other projects designed to improve classroom science instruction.
